Canon fuels SME growth with premium, affordable printing solutions

Editor April 25, 2025

MANILA – Canon Philippines reaffirms its commitment to empowering local businesses by showcasing its latest lineup of PIXMA and MAXIFY printers-built for speed, reliability, and high-volume performance. Aimed at helping Filipino SMEs boost productivity, Canon is also making premium printing more accessible with significant price drops on popular inks.

As part of this push, GI-71 inks-compatible with PIXMA G1730, G2730, G3730, and G4770-now come with discounts of up to 16%, while GI-76 Black ink for the MAXIFY GX series is down by an impressive 44%. These reductions bring cost per print as low as ₱0.058 (monochrome), giving entrepreneurs more mileage without compromising quality.

“Our mission is to help Filipino businesses succeed through efficient, affordable printing solutions,” said Jian Liu, Director for Consumer Information and Imaging at Canon Philippines. “These price cuts make it easier for SMEs to enjoy Canon’s trusted quality without the burden of high operational costs.”

Canon’s printers feature wireless connectivity, user-replaceable maintenance cartridges, and robust build quality, making them ideal for everything from home offices to corporate settings. Real-world users like Cass Brion of Bibong Pinay Company have credited Canon printers for helping launch thousands of mom-led businesses across the country.

Canon also teased the upcoming launch of three new MAXIFY MegaTank Business Printers-the GX7170, GX6170, and GX5170. These models offer laser-like print sharpness, duplex printing, and up to 21,000 pages per full-color ink set-perfect for growing businesses with demanding workloads.

Backed by a two-year warranty and a nationwide service network, Canon continues to deliver practical, cost-effective print solutions that support the daily needs of Filipino entrepreneurs. (PR)
