DAVAO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Oct. 19, 2012) – Police arrested a man while he was trying to escape after killing of a bank executive during a robbery in Davao City in the southern Philippines.
According to a report by radio network dzMM, the suspect, Archie Jaime, was one of two men who stabbed and killed Labrador Jalandoon, Jr. but his accomplice managed to escape.
Jaime was arrested after a police patrol spotted him carrying a gun and admitted during an investigation that they were behind the murder of Jalandoon.
Police launched a manhunt to capture the other assailant. (Mindanao Examiner)
