Cotabato City niyanig ng lindol

COTABATO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / June 13, 2012) – Nilindol kahapon ng madaling araw ang lungsod ng Cotabato at ayons sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology ay pumalo sa 4.5 sa Richter scale ang pagyanig.

Walang inulat na sugatan o damage sa mga gusali ng yanigin ang naturang lugar dakong alas 3 ng umaga, ayon sa mga awtoridad doon.

Sinabi naman ng PHILVOCS na Natunton nito ang sentro ng lindol halos 84 kilometro sa kanluran ng Cotabato at tectonic umano ang sanhi nito. Mahigit sa 600 kilometro ang lalim ng pinagmulan ng lindol na kung saan ay gumalaw ang dalawang mga plates ng mga bato.

Nitong Hunyo 11 lamang ay niyanig rin ng malakas na lindol ang nasabing lungsod. (Mindanao Examiner)
