NAGKAMIT ang Star Cinema ng isang well-deserved box-office hit sa recent mainstream theatrical release ng “She’s Dating The Gangster” na pinagbibidahan ng dalawa sa pinakamalaking teen star ng ABS-CBN na sina Daniel Padilla at Kathryn Bernardo.
Kumita ang pelikula ng P15M sa first showing day nito at ng maglaon pumalo ito sa takilya ng P100M na limang araw lamang matapos itong magbukas sa mga sinehan.
Base ang pelikula sa best-selling pop fiction book ni Bianca Bernardinona na may parehong titulo mula sa Summit Media, na nakipag-partner kamakailan sa Star Cinema para sa film adaptations.
Tuwang-tuwa si Summit Media President Lisa Cheng sa big screen interpretation ni Cathy Molina sa sikat na nobela ni Bernardino. “I find the movie very well done,” ayon kay Cheng. “Nakakaiyak at nakakakilig. I think, even though the book was not followed to the letter, it was improved…especially because of the two stories and timelines in the movie.”
