OLYMPIC bronze medalist Eumir Marcial and former featherweight champion Mark Magsayo delivered impressive victories in the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao–Mario Barrios bout held Sunday (Manila time) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Marcial made quick work of American Bernard Joseph, scoring a third-round technical knockout to stay unbeaten as a professional.
The 2020 Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist dropped Joseph in the second round with a right hook, then finished the job with a flurry of lefts at the 1:55 mark of the third.
The 29-year-old Marcial improved to 6-0, with four wins by knockout. Joseph slid to 11-2-1 (5 KOs).
Meanwhile, Magsayo clinched the WBC Continental Americas super featherweight belt with a unanimous decision win over Mexico’s Jorge Mata.
Magsayo controlled most of the 10-round bout, earning scores of 100-90, 100-90, and 98-92.
Now 28-2 with 18 KOs, the 30-year-old Magsayo moved a step closer to becoming a two-division world champion. Mata fell to 21-3-2 (13 KOs). (PNA)
