
ZAMBOANGA CITY – A man was shot dead following an argument over a debt with his assailant in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines, police said Wednesday.
Police said Wilson Medallo was buying bread January 20 at a store near his home in Talon-Talon village when the gunman arrived on a motorcycle and confronted him over his debt.
The two had an argument until the assailant pulled out a gun and shot Medallo in the head and body and fled after the shooting. Medallo was shot at least four times.
Police said it has identified the attacker and is tracking him down. (Mindanao Examiner)
