Dinukot na Aussie sa Zambo Sibugay province nasa Basilan!

ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Aug. 24, 2012) – Bihag pa rin ng Abu Sayyaf sa Basilan province ang isang Australian national na dinukot sa bayan ng Ipil sa Zamboanga Sibugay province nuong nakaraang taon.

Sinabi ng pulisya na may proof of life umano si Warren Rodwell na pinaniniwalaang nasa grupo ng mga rebelde sa pangunguna ni Puruji Indama sa magulong lalawigan.

“Buhay at may mga proof of life at nasa Basilan pa rin,” ani Chief Supt. Napoleon Estilles, ang hepe ng regional police office sa Western Mindanao.

Hindi naman nagbigay ng karagdagang detalye si Estilles ukol kay Rodwell, ngunit sinabi nito na may mga iba pang biktima ng kidnappings sa Mindanao ang dinala rin ngayon sa Basilan.

Ito rin ang sinabi ni Lt. Col. Randolph Cabangbang, ang spokesman ng Western Mindanao Command, at base sa kanilang intelligence report ay hawak ni Indama si Rodwell.

Wala naman pahayag si Basilan Gov. Jum Akbar ukol sa impormasyon ng pulisya.

Si Rodwell ay dinukot nuong nakaraang Disyembre ng mga armado na nakasuot ng uniporme ng pulisya ng pasukin ang kanyang bahay sa Ipil. Kasal ito sa Pinay na si Miraflor Gutang na kanyang nakilala sa Internet. (Mindanao Examiner)
