
COTABATO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Aug. 20, 2014) – The Department of Public Works and Highways have inaugurated two road projects worth some P40-million in the town of Parang in Maguindanao province in the Muslim autonomous region.
Public Works Secretary Emil Sadain and Mayor Ibrahim Ibay, of Parang town, officially opened the P30-million, three-kilometer road linking Parang to the neighboring town of Barira and another access road worth P10-million that leads to the Padang-Padang Adventure Park.
The inauguration of the road projects was among the highlights of the culmination of the 67th founding anniversary of Parang town where other infrastructure projects are still ongoing in several villages, including the improvement of the Polloc port.
