PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Apr. 10, 2013) – Police were searching for two men who stabbed dead their drinking buddy in the town of Diplahan in Zamboanga Sibugay province.
Police tagged Sonny Suposo and Ambok Dandan as behind the killing of Eddie Dumandan in the village of Natan.
It said Dumandan was drinking at a store when the duo arrived and joined him. The two men later attacked and mauled Dumandan and dragged him away from the store and stabbed repeatedly.
The assailants fled after the stabbing, leaving behind the bloodied Dumandan who succumbed to his fatal wounds.
The motive of the attack is still unknown and police are investigating the killing, according to Insp. Ariel Huesca, a regional police spokesman. (With a report from Jonette Yankee)
