MAGUINDANAO – President Rodrigo Duterte is expected to grace the inauguration of a 4.5-megawatt bio-mass power plant in the town of Buluan in the province of Maguindanao in the Muslim autonomous region in southern Philippines.
The new power facility is set to be inaugurated on July 22 and will benefit the province which has been beset by shortage in electricity supply. It has undergone testing and initial operation weeks ago using materials gathered from oil palm farms in Maguindanao.
