ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Dec. 30, 2011) – A slight tremor shook Zamboanga City and nearby provinces in the southern Philippines, but there were no reports of damages to structures.
The Intensity 3.6 tremor occurred at around 8.47 p.m. on Thursday and was also felt in Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga del Norte provinces.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the earthquake was stronger in Tampilisan town in Zamboanga del Norte where the agency traced its epicenter. (Mindanao Examiner)
