DIPOLOG CITY – Police arrested a 63-year man who stabbed his son during a heated argument inside their house in Dipolog City in the southern Philippine province of Zamboanga del Norte.
Police said Atilano Gumahad, Sr. was immediately arrested and detained for wounding his son and namesake on Christmas Day in the village of Punta.
His son was rushed to hospital for wound in the abdomen, according to the police.
It was not immediately known what triggered the argument, but both father and son live in the same house. (Mindanao Examiner)
