ZAMBOANGA CITY – Police were investigating the killing of a former army soldier who was shot in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines.
Police said Domingo Duyao, 65, was shot by a man he was talking October 5 in the village of Curuan. Duyao was driving his tricycle with his grandson when the man flagged him down near Sitio Presa and the two briefly spoke.
The still unidentified man suddenly shot Duyao several times and then fled on his motorcycle. The motive of the shooting is unknown.
Police said it is investigating the killing of Duyao. (Mindanao Examiner)
