SULTAN KUDARAT (Mindanao Examiner / May 1, 2014) – A Filipino policeman who shot and killed his wife in President Quirino town in Sultan Kudarat province has surrendered to his superior and has been detained while investigation is still going on, officials said.
Officials said the 42-year old policeman shot his wife during a heated altercation inside their house in the village of Tual on April 27.
The policeman escaped after the shooting, but relatives convince him to surrender peacefully in General Santos City.
The woman died instantly after being shot several times in the head. (Rose Muneza)
