COTABATO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / June 1, 2013) – About two dozen houses and establishments were burned after a fire before dawn Saturday hit a neighborhood in Cotabato City in southern Philippines, officials said.
Officials said the fire was first reported at around 1 a.m. There were no reports of casualties or injuries in the conflagration that razed houses near Rajah Tabunaway Boulevard.
The Bureau of Fire Protection is still investigating the cause of the fire. It was not immediately known how many people had been affected by the fire. (Mindanao Examiner)
