COTABATO CITY – A civilian was injured in a grenade attack on Tuesday evening in North Cotabato’s Carmen town in southern Philippines, officials said.
Officials said an unidentified man lobbed the grenade in front of a house at Purok 3 in the village called Tondo and the explosion injured Melanie Marcelino.
The motive of the attack is still unknown, but the police have launched an investigation into the blast.
Officials said no individual claimed responsibility for the attack. (Mindanao Examiner)
