
MANILA (Mindanao Examiner / Feb. 13, 2013) – The newly-elected president of the Filipino Community of Guam, Roy Adonay, has paid a courtesy call on Consul General Bayani Mangibin at the Consulate General to discuss various projects during his two-year term.
Adonay discussed forthcoming projects, which include the beautification of the newly acquired Filipino Community of Guam Center; issuance of membership card with benefits; launching of a coffee table book highlighting the provinces of member organizations; and institutionalization of an award ceremony that aims to give due recognition to distinguished Filipinos or Filipino-Americans on the island.
In response, Mangibin assured Adonay of the Consulate General’s assistance and support to the projects of the Filipino Community of Guam.
