
ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Apr. 20, 2013) – A gunman shot dead a local trader in Zamboanga City in the southern Philippines, police said Saturday.
It said the victim Samuel Ramones, whose business included selling gasoline, was shot by one of two gunmen, who pretended to buy fuel, in their house in the village of Vitali.
Ramones was shot several times in the body and killed instantly. The attackers escaped on a motorcycle and police said the investigation into the killing is going on.
No individual claimed responsibility for the attack and the motive of the murder is still unknown. (Mindanao Examiner)
