ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY (Mindanao Examiner / Jan. 10, 2014) – Gunmen held up two employees of a lending firm and took their collections in the town of Ipil in the southern Filipino province of Zamboanga Sibugay, police said.
Police said Jennylyn de Jesus, 27, and Maximino Barcillano, 26, were on a motorcycle when gunmen stopped them on the highway near the village of Upper Pangi. The two are employees of the firm called KFI.
The victims told police that three gunmen were involved in the robbery and the gunmen also took a gold bracelet, 10 passports and their personal belongings.
Police are investigating the incident. (Mindanao Examiner)
