ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Dec. 2, 2013) – A group of gunmen held up Monday an appliance store near downtown Zamboanga City in southern Philippines and carted its sales and collection money, reports said.
The gunmen barged into the A.L. Gonzales & Sons along the busy Veterans Avenue and threatened its employees as they robbed the store, which also sells cooking gas.
The assailants escaped after the heist. The robbery occurred just several meters away from junction manned by traffic policemen. It was unknown whether the store has a security camera or not. (Mindanao Examiner)
