Climaco said under her administration, she never fails to extend all kinds of assistance possible to the police, military and other security forces for them to stay on guard, protecting and defending Zamboanga, to prevent another attack.
Just this week, Climaco led the commemoration of the 2013 siege of Zamboanga by Moro rebels and gave honor to all those who perished in the deadly attack that killed and wounded hundreds of people, and left over 100,000 without homes.
“We can never allow another attack that is why our security forces have worked double time to ensure the safety of the city. Zamboanga City is ours—Christians, Muslims and Lumads. We need to really safeguard the fragile security of the city,” she said. (Zamboanga Post)
