Hero’s welcome para sa Marawi troops

Makikita sa mga larawan na ipinasa sa Mindanao Examiner Regional Newspaper ng Naval Forces Western Mindanao ang mga sundalong nagsibalik sa Zamboanga City matapos ng 5 sagupaan sa ISIS sa Marawi City. 

 

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Isang mainit na pagsalubong o hero’s welcome ang ibinigay ng Philippine Navy dito sa mga sundalong bumalik mula sa 5 buwan sagupaan sa ISIS sa Marawi City.

Maging ang mga sibilyan at pamilya ng mga sundalo ay nagtungo pa sa Zamboanga upang makita ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay.

Pinaragalan rin nina Rear Admiral Rene Medina, hepe ng Naval Forces Western Mindanao, at Colonel Ariel Caculitan, commander ng Combat Service Support Battalion, ang mga tropa dahil sa kanilang katapangan at pagpupursige na maibalik ang kapayapaan sa Marawi na nilusob ng ISIS noon Mayo 23.

Ang mga sundalo ay pawang mga miyembro ng 61st at 64th Marine Company ng Marine Special Operations Group, Armor Assault Battalion, Field Artillery Battalion, Shore Patrol Unit ng Naval Forces Western Mindanao at Civil Military Operations Unit-Western Mindanao.

Tuwang-tuwa naman ang mga tropa sa ibinigay na papugay sa kanila. Marami sa mga ito ang lumuluha dahil sa mainit na pagtanggap sa kanila. (Mindanao Examiner)
