TUGUEGARAO CITY – The Jesus Miracle Crusade International Ministry recently conducted a drug symposium and a mini concert in Cagayan Valley province.

The drug symposium and concerts were held at the Linao National High School, Gosi High School, Cataggaman National High School, Tuguegarao West High School and Vicente D. Trinidad National High School where thousands of students participated.

Schools Division Superintendent Leila P. Areola approved the events. It was also highly recommended by Superintendent Jessie Tamayao, the police chief of Tuguegarao City.

Tamayao said Jesus Miracle Crusade International Ministry made a great difference in the traditional drug symposium because the symposium and concert enlightened the youth to be the genuine hope of our nation.

“The symposium and mini concert were not only participated by the students, but also the police, teachers, principal and school staffs as well. We all danced and jumped with a joyful noise praising God’s holy name and submitting ourselves to walk in God righteousness,” he said.

Also in November – despite the typhoon that ravaged northern Philippines – members of the Jesus Miracle Crusade Tuguegarao Choir took part in the 16th anniversary of the victorious Talipao Mindanao Peace Mission in Manila.

The anniversary remembered how Jesus Miracle Crusade founder, Evangelist Pastor Wilde E. Almeda, led a brave team of prayer warriors inside an Abu Sayyaf stronghold in Sulu province in southern Philippines in 2000 to convince the rebels to release the 21 Sipadan hostages and eventually share God’s word with them after the notorious group agreed to free the foreigners.

Through fasting and prayers, the impossible mission was made possible by God’s grace. The anniversary gathering was filled with living testimonies of God’s signs, wonders and miracles of some of the selected brethren among millions of followers in the country and other parts of the world.

After the crusade, the brethren from Tuguegarao travelled back for over 12 hours and got welcomed by the aftermath of Super Typhoon Lawin, but amidst the circumstance, the brethren remained grateful to the Almighty for keeping everyone safe.

Zero casualties were announced in Tuguegarao and that is more than enough for material things can be brought back a hundred folds. In fact, we received a message from members of the Jesus Miracle Crusade in Canada that they will be providing relief goods for the typhoon victims. They said undeniably, God’s providence is upon those who believe and walk in God’s righteousness.

The Jesus Miracle Crusade is expected to hold another drug symposium and concert on January 3 at Valencia, Bohol and nearby provinces. (By Angel Cuarteros, contributing editor)
