DAVAO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / June 12, 2014) – The Department of Labor and Employment on Thursday said about 3,000 job seekers flocked to its “Kalayaan Job Fair” in Davao City on Mindanao Island that coincided with the 116th Philippine Independence Day celebration.
It said the job fair was held in partnership with ABS-CBN Television and NCCC Mall where it held the successful event.
More than 100 local and overseas employment agencies participated in the job fair, according to Assistant DOLE Regional Director Venerando Cebrano.
He said nearly 7,000 job vacancies were made available during the fair. (Sherwin Manual)
