MAKATI CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Dec. 13, 2011) – Filipino artist Mae Paner, who is also known as ‘Juana Change,’ has launched two new videos to meet the yuletide season.
The first video showed Juana impersonating Congresswoman Gloria Arroyo – complete with her signature neck brace – while talking with Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona.
The Filipina YouTube sensation, well-known for her satirical viral videos, averred that Corona is already compromised due to his close association with CGMA.
“Wala na siyang kredibilidad sa mata ng taumbayan at dahil dito, hinihila din niya pababa ang kredibilidad ng judiciary na hinahawakan niya. Ang mga nagdaang mga desisyon niya ay patunay na panig lamang siya kay CGMA at hindi sa katotohanan at totoong hustisya.” (He has lost all credibility in the eyes of the people and because of this, he is dragging the whole judiciary with him. His past decisions prove that he is siding with CGMA and not with the truth and authentic justice.)
“Alam nyo, ang Corona ay bagay lamang sa mga utak wang-wang! Alisin ang corona sa judikatura! Ngayong na-impeach na siya ng Kongreso, dapat nating bantayan ang Senado ngayon! Mag-ingat ang mga senador na hindi papanig sa taumbayan! They better watch out!” Juana Change further quips.” (A “Corona” only fits those who are utak wang-wang. Remove Corona from the judiciary! Now that he has been impeached, we should monitor the Senate now. The Senators who will not side with the people better watch out!)
Her second video shows Juana sharing light moments with youth and children with different background. She chatted with one girl who was a known bully in school, a 4-year old son of a relieved PALEA member, a young boy who is an admitted “binabae” , a math whiz and more as they exchanged gifts and shared their heartwarming stories.
“Dapat mabigyan ng pagkakataon na marinig ang boses ng kabataan ngayong Pasko. Remember that Christmas is for them. Sila ang tunay na pag-asa ng ating bayan. Sana’y hindi sila lumaking trapo katulad nina CGMA, Corona at iba pa.” Juana concludes.
