Kidapawan pursigido sa housing project, may-ari ng lupa umalma!

KIDAPAWAN CITY – Tanging ang order lamang mula sa korte ang makapipigil sa Kidapawan City Government para huwag nilang ituloy ngayong taon ang pagpapatayo ng higit sa 300 housing unit sa may Purok-8, Barangay Sudapin dito.

Ito ang naging pahayag ng City Legal Counsel na si Attorney Chris Cabilen sa panayam sa kanya ng NDBC Kidapawan.

Nitong nakaraang Biyernes, isinagawa ng joint inspection team na pinangungunahan ni Cabilen, ilang piling empleyado ng city government, at ng mga representante mula sa National Housing Authority ang relocation survey sa may limang ektaryang lupain na pagtatayuan ng 322 housing units sa ilalim ng Resettlement Housing Project Phase 4. Sa ginawang survey, inayos ng team ang perimeter fence na sakop ng lote.

Isa sa mga umangal sa relocation survey ay si Jennifer Sibug, kabilang sa mga heir ng Sibug Clan.  Tanong ni Sibug ay kung bakit itinuloy ng city government ang pagbili sa lote gayung kwestyunable ang ownership nito dahil dinidinig pa sa korte ang kaso nito.

Ang lote ay nabili ng city government noon pang panahon ni dating Mayor Rodolfo Gantuangco mula sa pamilya Jaafar-Sibug. Umangal na ang dalawang pamilya pa ng mga Sibug na umaangkin rin sa naturang lote. (Contributed by Malu Manar. May dagdag ulat mula kay Rhoderick Benez.)
