
PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Oct. 24, 2013) – Two motorcycle gunmen held up a lottery outlet in the town of Molave in Zamboanga del Sur province and carted thousands of pesos in bets, police said Thursday.
Police said the assailants, who posed as bettors, barged into the lotto outlet and held its employee – Analyn Aguilar – at gunpoint and ransacked her cash vault. The gunmen fled after the heist and police said over P17,000 in cash were taken by the robbers.
The lotto outlet, located in the village of Maloloy-on, is operated by Josefina Angcog, of Pagadian City also in Zamboanga del Sur, according to the police.
It was not immediately whether the lotto outlet has a security camera or if there was witness to the robbery. (Mindanao Examiner)
