Lugar ni Duterte, nahagip ng bomb scare

DAVAO CITY – Nagkagulo kanina sa Davao City matapos na mag-panic ang mga residente sa isang subdivision di-kalayuan sa bahay ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte dahil sa naiwang attaché case na pinaghinalaang may bomba.

Agad umanong itinawag sa pulisya ng mga residente sa Dona Luisa Village sa Quimpo Boulevard ang kahinahinalang attaché case kung kaya’t pinutakte ng mga sundalo at pulis ang naturang lugar.

Mabilis rin rumesponde ang mga K9 unit ng pulisya at ipinasiyasat agad sa aso ang nasabing attaché case. Ngunit wala naman bomba na natagpuan sa loob nito at sa halip ay pulos barya ang natagpuan ng mga bomb experts.

Nabatid na isang residente doon ang nakaiwan ng attaché case at naibalik rin ito sa kanya.

Kamakalawa lamang ay isang backpack rin ang naiwan sa San Pedro Street, ngunit negatibo rin ito sa anumang pampasabog. Muling nagpaala ang mga awtoridad sa publiko na pag-ingatan ang kanilang mga bag o kagamitan upang hindi ito makalikha ng takot sa mga residente.

Nagpasalamat rin ang pulisya at militar sa pagiging alerto ng mga residente sa Davao at agad naitatawag ang mga kahinahinalang bagay sa kanilang lugar.

Nitong September 2 lamang ay dalawang mortar bomb ang pinasabog sa night market sa Roxas Avenue na ikinamatay ng 14 katao at pagkasugat ng mahigit sa 70 iba pa. Miyembro umano ng isang teroristang grupo mula Central Mindanao angn nasa likod ng atake. (Mindanao Examiner)
