ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE – Police arrested a 22-year old man who allegedly raped his neighbor’s wife in the southern Filipino province of Zamboanga del Norte, officials said Friday.
Police said Relan Caballero Agob was immediately arrested after the woman’s 51-year old husband sought the help of authorities in Tampilisan town.
The woman’s husband said Agob asked his permission to use his bicycle and went home to get it, but it took him so long. And when he returned home in the village of Galingon, his 41-year old wife – who was still in shock from the terrifying ordeal – said she was abused by Agob.
The victim and her husband said they will press criminal charges against Agob. (Mindanao Examiner)
