ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Mar. 1, 2014) – Police arrested a 27-year old man accused of molesting his five-year old daughter in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines.

The man’s 53-year old mother-in-law sought police help after the girl told her own father molested her in their house in Lacasteville in Pasonanca village. Police said the man is facing criminal charges and has been jailed after his arrest.

Police investigation showed that the man fetched his daughter from the house of his mother-in-law and brought the girl to his house where he molested the victim.

The man’s wife is working in Singapore and the girl has been placed under the care of the woman’s family. (Mindanao Examiner)
