Mayor, 6 iba pa dinakip ng pulisya

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Dinakip ng pulisya ang isang alkalde at 6 na iba pa – tatlo sa kanila pawang mga konsehal –ng bayan ng Sibuco sa Zamboanga del Norte province.

Ayon sa ulat ng Zamboanga del Norte Police Office, dinakip umano si Sibuco Mayor Nurbederie Edding sa kanyang bahay sa Barangay Santa Maria sa Zamboanga City nitong Lunes lamang.

Tatlong konsehal rin ng naturang bayan ang hinuli at nakilala itong sina Norbryan Bederi Edding, Nasser Sahi Mahamod at Absar Naing Caril. Gayun rin ang tatlong dating mga konsehal na sina Malik Mandi Tutuan, Jaapal Callon Dodong, at dating Association of Barangay Councils chairman na si Abbas Sulaiman Samson.

Pinangunahan umano ni Inspector Joel Adajar ng Sibuco police force, ang pag-aresto sa mga ito sa bisa na rin ng arrest warrant na inilabas ng Sandigan Bayan 7th Division sa ilalim ng chairman nitong si Alexander Gesmundo dahil sa paglabag ng Sec. 3 (a) RA 3019 o Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.

Nabatid na agad rin naghain ng piyansang P30,000 ang bawat isa sa mga akusado.

“On same date, the arrested persons were able to post bail for their temporary liberty in the amount of thirty thousand (P30,000) each at RTC ZC duly signed by the Executive Judge Gregorio dela Pena III,” ani pa ng nasabing ulat ng pulisya.

Hindi naman sinabi ng pulisya kung anong particular ang nilabag sa batas ng mga naturang personalidad. Hindi naman agad makunan ng pahayag ang grupo ng alkalde ukol sa naturang alegasyon. (Mindanao Examiner)
