Melissa Ricks…thought she would have her ‘happy ever after’

Editor July 24, 2014
unnamed

NINA (Melissa Ricks) thought she would have her “happy ever after” because she was set to marry her boyfriend and longtime crush Adam (Matt Evans). But her dream wedding turned into a nightmare when her groom did not show up on their supposed special day.

Could Nina make Adam pay for the pain and embarrassment he gave her and her family? Find out in “Ipaglaban Mo” this July 26.

Following the incident, Nina sued Adam for moral damages. Nina easily won the case after Adam refused to attend all the scheduled court hearings. Adam finally showed up for the first time since the wedding day, not to apologize, but to appeal the court decision, claiming that the settlement amount he was asked to pay was too high. After expressing his refusal to pay, the case was submitted to the Court of Appeals, and later on, to the Supreme Court.

How did the court decide on the case? Did Adam pay more or pay less? Did Adam really love Nina before? And most importantly, what did Nina learn from this painful experience?

Also joining the cast in this week’s episode, titled “Ang Pangako Mo Sa Akin” and directed by Ricky Rivero, are Buboy Garovillo, Nikki Valdez, Beverly Salviejo, and Tony Manalo.
