COTABATO CITY – Umani ng maraming batikos sa social media si Murad Ibrahim na siyang pinuno ng rebeldeng Moro Islamic Liberation Front na lumagda ng interim peace deal sa pamahalaan matapos nitong i-endorso si Liberal Party presidential bet Mar Roxas at iba pang mga kandidato nito.
Nagtungo si Roxas sa Camp Darapanan sa bayan ng Sultan Kudarat sa Maguindanao kamakalawa at nakipagkita sa pamunuan ng MILF. Ipingako rin ni Roxas kay Ebrahim at sa MILF na isusulong nito ang Bangsamoro Basic Law kung siya ang mahihirang na pangulo.
Ngunit si Roxas ay isa sa mga tumuligsa rin sa Memorandum of Agreement on Ancestral Domain na nilagdaan ng MILF at pamahalaang Arroyo. Na-eskandalo rin si Roxas na bansagan nitong “Muslim na mananakop” ang rebeldeng Moro National Liberation Front na lumusob sa Zamboanga City noon 2013 na kung saan ay marami ang nasawi.
Naunang ipinag-utos ni Ebrahim sa lahat ng MILF members na huwag makikilahok sa political exercise ng bansa. Nakapaloob pa ito sa isang memorandum na inilabas noon October 2015, ngunit nilabag mismo ni Ebrahim.
Sa Facebook account ng ARMM Watch ay sinabi ni netizen Zenoden Linindingh Guro Jr na: “Again – this is political insanity and moral bankruptcy. I just hope the MILF leader knows what he’s doing. Murad is entitled to his own statement and yes we all have our own rights and for me – I would say it’s crystal clear bro. It’s hypocrisy. Wake up Bangsamoro.”
“ I can’t believe the MILF are endorsing this Monster Roxas. I dare the MILF Leaders to first consult this matter to the Bangsamoro people….you guy’s don’t deserve to lead nor represent the clamor of the Bangsamoro. Hope you could follow the principles and vision of the late Amirul Mujahideen Hashim Salamat (na dating pinuno ng MILF).”
Si Murad na sinasabing tumatanggap ng milyon-milyong piso mula sa pamahalaang Aquino ng magsimula ang peace talks ay may-ari diumano ng maraming mga hotel at negosyo sa Cotabato at iba pang bahagi ng Mindanao at Cebu. (Mindanao Examiner)
