MILF isinuko ang sarili sa pamahalaan: BIFF

COTABATO CITY – Maituturing umano na isang pagsuko sa estado ang ginawang decommissioning ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front sa mahigit na 100 armas nito sa kanilang kampo sa bayan ng Sultan Kudarat sa Maguindanao province.

Ito ang naging reaksyon ni Abu Misri Mama na siyang tagapagsalita ng Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIFF) bilang tugon sa “symbolic” decommissioning ng ibat-ibang armas, kabilang ang mga B40 anti-tank rockets at anti-aircraft machine guns, sa Camp Darapanan.

Bagama’t sinabi ni Abu Misri na wala silang pakialam sa napagkasunduan ng MILF at pamahalaang Aquino ay malaki umano ang epekto nito sa naturang grupo dahil maraming mga rebelde ang patuloy na naghahangad ng kalayaan ng mga Muslim sa Mindanao.

Ito rin ang ipinaglalaban ng BIFF, ani Abu Misri – ang kalayaan ng mga Muslim mula sa estado at maitatag ang sariling pamahalaan at ipatupad ang Sharia law.

Nauna ng binatikos ng BIFF ang MILF, partikular ang lider nitong si Murad Ebrahim, na lumagda ng kasunduan sa pamahalaang Aquino noon nakaraang taon. Ito rin ang dahilan kung bakit kumalas ang maraming mga miyembro ng MILF at binuo ang BIFF.
