Mlang, North Cotabato, mas hinigpitan ang seguridad kasunod ng dalawang ‘bomb scare’ sa bayan

NORTH COTABATO — Muli na namang binulabog ang Mlang, North Cotabato ng bomb scare, alas-10:30 Lunes ng umaga.

Ayon sa Mlang PNP, isang kulay itim na bag ang iniwan ng dalawang di pa nakilalang lalaki sa labas ng Arcylyn store sa National Highway, Purok Maharlika, Bagontapay.

Agad namang nagsagawa ng sight disruption ang EOD Team mula sa Cotabato Police Provincial Office o CPPO.

Napag-alaman na ang nasabing suspected na baggage ay naglalaman ng kulay itim na cellphone, canister wrap na may electrical tape, mga pako at basag na bote na magsisilbing shrapnel at mga bala ng M16 at M14.

Ito na ang pangalawang beses na binulabog ng bomb scare angbayan, ang una ay noong linggo kungsaan isang kahina-hinalang bag ang iniwan malapit sa isang tindahan sa Magsaysay Avenue.

Inilagay ang IED malapit sa mga pasahero na nag-aantay ng masasakyan papuntang bayan ng Tulunan.

Agad kinurdon ng mga pulis ang lugar at saka idinetonate gamit ang water disruptor. Ang IED ay ginamitan ng black powder, mga pako, mga bubog at cellphone bilang triggering device.

Ayon kay Mayor Russel Abonado ng Mlang, malinaw na pananakot lamang ang ginawang pag-iwan ng suspected baggage sa sa bayan.

Katatapos lamang ng selebrasyon sa Mlang para sa founding anniversary ng bayan.
