
ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / July 24, 2013) – In just a short stint since he assumed post early this July, new Land Transportation Office operations divisions Officer-In-Charge Abdelshan Amillassan, has managed to apprehend 687 motorists in line with its Operation H20n or the “Headlight and Helmet On” launched in Western Mindanao.
Its total collection to date – P 487,996.49 – also improved and higher by P121,41.49 compared in 2012 for the whole of July that merely collected P366,955.00.
LTO Western Mindanao Director lawyer Aminola Abaton has commended Amilassan for a “job well done”, and has egged him on and his field personnel to carry on their tasks nay fear nor favor to serve the highest interest of the riding public.
Abaton is largely credited for making the regional office as one of the most outstanding in the whole country. He also introduced reforms which resulted in fast transactions and effective implementation of the road rules and regulations and the law. (Jun Feliciano)
