MANILA (Mindanao Examiner / June 13, 2014) – Philippine policemen arrested a 61-year old Norwegian man accused of sexually abusing two Filipino teenagers in Olongapo City in Zambales province just outside Manila.
Police said a local judge Richard Paradeza ordered the arrest of Hoverstad Torgeir, who also goes by the alias Thorn, for abusing two girls, both age 15, after their parents sought assistance from authorities. Policemen led by Superintendent Rogarth Ocampo arrested the foreigner in his rented room where cops found sex toys and nude pictures of Filipino children.
Officials said the victims told police investigators that Torgeir – who passed himself off as a filmmaker to be able to lure minors to pose in nude in exchange for money – allegedly abused them in three different occasions from March to April this year.
The victims said their photos were allegedly sold by Torgeir to other foreigners through the Internet. The foreigner did not give any statement about the accusations against him. (Mindanao Examiner)
