MANILA (Mindanao Examiner / Feb. 29, 2012) – The Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) joined the annual Kabisig Government Expo and Trade Fair held recently at the SM Megamall in the Philippine capital.

OPAPP and 27 other government departments, agencies, government-owned and controlled corporations, and instrumentalities showcased their services, projects and programs for the appreciation and information of the public.

With this year’s theme, “Kapit-bisig sa matuwid na daan: gabay sa kaunlaran” (Partnership towards straight path: guide to progress), OPAPP set up an exhibit booth and handed giveaways to mall goers.

The event was organized by the Kabisig People’s Movement, University of the Philippines Grand Order of Eagles and Junior Chamber International Central Davao.

Daniel Guillen, chairman of the Kabisig People’s Movement, said the expo was a good venue to introduce lesser known government offices to the public and promote their agencies to a larger population.
