For: Yellow Advisory over Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Davao City, Lanao del Norte.

Target Areas: Yellow Advisory over Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Davao City, Lanao del Norte.

Moderate to heavy rainfall over Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Davao City and Lanao del Norte.

Areas under Yellow Advisory flooding is possible in low-lying areas and those located near the river channels.

Local DRRMC’s are advised to take necessary precautionary measures.

People are advised to closely monitor the weather condition and watch out for the next update to be issued in the next 3 hours or whenever significant changes occur.

Tropical Cyclone Warning: Tropical Depression “CRISING”

Tropical Depression “CRISING” has maintained its strength as it threatens Southeastern Mindanao.

Location of Center:
(as of 10:00 p.m.) 470 km East of General Santos City
Coordinates: 06.2°N, 139.7°E
Strength: Maximum winds of 45 kph near the center
Movement: West Northwest at 19 kph

Forecast Positions/Outlook: Tuesday evening:
40 km East of Davao City

Wednesday evening:
150 km North of Zamboanga City

Thursday evening:
100 km Southwest of Puerto Princesa City.

Residents living in low lying and mountainous areas under public storm warning signal #1 are alerted against possible flash floods and landslides.

Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 – 15 mm per hour (moderate – heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression.

Fishing boats and other small sea crafts are advised not to venture out into the eastern seaboards of the country and over the northern seaboard of Northern Luzon.

The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 5 a.m. (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration)
