
TACURONG CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Mar. 17, 2014) – Two alleged drug couriers were arrested Monday by members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Tacurong City in Sultan Kudarat province in southern Philippines, officials said.
Officials said PDEA agents under regional director Aileen Lovitos arrested Grace Eliseo and her partner Jonathan Morales along Ledesma Street following a surveillance operation on them. The two had previously eluded arrest.
Agents recovered from Eliseo and Morales assorted sachets containing suspected shabu or methamphetamine hydrochloride, and drug paraphernalia and a sealer. The arrest was also witnessed by village chieftain Lorraine Llavore, City Councilors Rodrigo Jamorabon and Jay Neal Galios, of the City Prosecutor’s Office and a journalist who was embedded with the PDEA agents.
