JOINT ELEMENTS of PDEA Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Office, PIB, RID9, and Ipil MPS arrested a high value target/wanted person at the vicinity of Purok Sampaloc, Barangay Tiayon, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for violation of Section 11, Article II of RA 9165 issued by the Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
In a report submitted to PDEA Director General Aaron N Aquino, Atty. Jacquelyn L. de Guzman, PDEA RO IX Acting Regional Director, identified the arrested suspect as Jacri Casilang y Tahil, 48 years old, male, married, fisherman and resident of Sitio Saruk-Saruk, Barangay Magdaup, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
The arrested person has been subjected for the implementation of Search Warrant on January 23, 2019 along with certain Jul Ambre, served by PDEA ZSP, PIB, PMFC, Ipil MPS, RID9, and 44th IB. Authorities were able to seize a total of thirty-four (34) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of shabu weighing more or less 74.012 grams. However, the subject managed to elude arrest at that time.
Casilang is now under the custody of Ipil MPS. (
