Peace advocates unveil ‘Declaration of Solidarity for Peace’ in Zamboanga City

Peace advocates unveil marker in Zamboanga village.

ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Nov. 27, 2011) – A decade after its first visit to the coastal village of Taluksangay in Zamboanga City, the Peace Advocates Zamboanga under the bigger umbrella of Interreligious Solidarity Movement for Peace, made its historical journey for the second time to the Muslim community for the unveiling of the Declaration of Solidarity.

The unveiling of the Declaration of Solidarity peace marker over the weekend was to formally commit and reveal to the public the big start of the peace relationship of PAZ together with Taluksangay.

The event was headed by Fr. Angel Calvo, the lead convener and president of PAZ and other local personalities. (Fatima Rona Halud)
