DUMAGUETE CITY (Mindanao Examiner / May 27, 2013) – The competition hits fever-pitch as the Philippine Football Federation Suzuki U23 National Cup finished the last day of the qualifiers for the semi-final rounds at the Perdices Coliseum here.
Following the intensely contested qualifying round, the four teams that are in the running for the semis are as follows: Davao FA, Iloilo FA, Negros Occidental FA, and North Cotabato FA.
These 4 teams will duke it out on Tuesday, which will determine the top two contenders for the championship match on May 30.
The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Suzuki U23 National Cup has played host to the burgeoning talents of Filipino footballers since its establishment in 2011.
Suzuki Philippines has partnered with the Philippine Football Federation to discover and nurture local football talents, as well as give local football fans an event to cheer for their home teams.
