Pinoy Guinness World Record holder excited na bumiyahe sa Italy

ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Feb. 23, 2012) – Nasa limelight na naman si Junrey Balawing ng Zamboanga del Norte province na siyang ‘Guinness World Records’ holder bilang World’s Smallest Man.


Nakatakdang magtungo si Junrey, na tubong-Sindangan, sa Italy para sa isang photo shoot kasama ni Sultan Kosen, ng Turkey, na siya naman ‘world’s tallest man’ dahil sa tayo nitong 8’3” kung ihahambing sa Pinoy wonder na may sukat lamang na 1’11 2/3” sa edad na 18.

Unang pumutok ang pangalan ni Junrey matapos na madiskubre ito sa kanilang bayan dahil sa kanyang pagiging maliit na tao na sa unang tingin ay mistulang bata pa na mataas lamang ng kaunti sa isang family size na bote ng soft drink.

Kasama naman ni Junrey sa kanyang paglalakbay sa Italy ang mga magulang na sina 
Reynaldo at Concepcion Balawing. Nakatakda itong umalis sa Abril. 

Nakuha ni Junrey – na ipinanganak nuong Hunyo 12, 1993 – ang korona ng ‘Guinness World Records’ mula kay Khagendra Thapa Magar, ng Nepal na may taas lamang ng 2’ 2 1/3”. (Mindanao Examiner)
