Police training sa Sulu na isinasagawa

SULU (Mindanao Examiner / June 5, 2014) – Dahil sa malaking suporta ng pamahalaan ng lalawigan ng Sulu sa ibat-ibang programa ng Philippine National Police ay dito na isinagawa ang schooling at training sa hanay ng kapulisan.

Sa Camp Julasirim Kasim, ang headquarters ng provincial police command, idinaraos ang mga programa at ngayon Huwebes ay sinimulan na ang apat na buwang “Public Safety Senior Leadership Course and Public Safety Junior Leadership Course.”

Lubhang mahalaga ang ibat-ibang training ng pulisya sa Sulu at hindi na rin kailangan pang gumastos ng malaki at magpunta sa police regional headquarters sa Parang, Maguindanao o kaya ay sa Zamboanga City o Camp Crame sa Quezon City ang mga parak upang sumailalim sa schooling.

“This will enhance the capabilities of PNP officers in doing spot report, conduct intelligence gathering, investigations procedures, community relations and other programs,” ani pa ng pulisya.

Nagbigay rin ng courtesy call ang opisyal ng pulisya kay Sulu Gov. Totoh Tan sa kanyang tanggapan sa Kapitolyo sa bayan ng Patikul. Pinangunahan ito ng mga opisyal ng Special Action Force na naka-destino sa Sulu sa ilalim nina Senior Inspector Rustom Abalos, ang commanding officer ng 52nd Special Action Company; at Inspector Jose Simon, ang 1st Platoon Leader, at Inspector Miller Mamising, ang 2nd Platoon Leader.

Nagtungo rin sa Kapitolyo at nagbigay ng courtesy call kina Gov. Totoh Tan at si Vice Gov. Sakur ang Provincial Highway Patrol Group sa pangunguna ni Inspector Victor Azorez, Jr.

Nitong taon lamang ay katuwang rin ng pulisya si Gov. Totoh Tan at si Vice Gov. Sakur sa pagbubuo ng anti-kidnapping task force sa Sulu. Nauna ng binuo at inilagay ng pamahalaang panlalawigan ang human rights desk at iba pang kinatawan mula sa ibat-ibang law enforcement at government agencies sa Sulu upang matugunan ang pangangailangan ng publiko.  (Franzie Sali)
