Road accident injures 9 in Zamboanga

ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Apr. 21, 2014) – Nine people were injured when a tricycle and mini-bus collided in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines, police said on Monday.

Police said the accident occurred in the village of Sinubong and that the bus driver, Raul Serra, 48, has been detained while investigation is going on. The bus is owned by D’ Biel Transit.

The injured victims, including the tricycle driver, were brought to hospital.

Police released the names of the victims as Edwin Pedoche, Rodelyn, Rainer, Orville, Carmen Joy, Al Gorit, V-Joy Olarte, John Rouel Victoriano and Joan Victoriano – all residents from the village of Ayala. (Mindanao Examiner)
