Sayyaf, pumugot ng bihag?

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Dalawang araw matapos na pumutok ang balita na pinugutan ng ulo ng Abu Sayyaf ang kanilang Pinoy hostage ay wala pa rin kumpirmasyon na inilalabas ang militar ukol dito.

Kalat sa intelligence community ang brutal na pagpatay sa mangingisdang si Noel Besconde bilang ganti sa pagpaslang ng militar kay Abu Sayyaf leader Muamar Askali alias Abu Rami sa sagupaan kamakailan sa lalawigan ng Bohol.

Tikom pa rin ang bibig ng mga opisyal sa Western Mindanao Command ukol sa pagpatay kay Besconde – isa sa apat na crew ng F/B Ramona na dinukot noong nakaraang Disyembre sa karagatan ng Sulu.

Wala rin pahayag ang Abu SAayyaf ukol dito. Pawang taga-Zamboanga del Norte ang mga biktima. Bihag pa rin ng Abu Sayyaf ang halos 2 dosenang mga Asian sailors na kanilang dinukot sa karagatan ng Basilan at Tawi-Tawi na bahagi ng Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

May balita rin na nais sumuko ni Abu Sayyaf leader Radulan Sarihon at nangako itong tutulong sa militar na madakip o mapasuko ang iba pang commanders ng notoryosong grupo sa kondisyon na ibibigay sa kanya ang reward money at amnestiya sa mga tauhan.

Wanted ng Estados Unidos at ng pamahalaan si Sahiron at walang amnestiya ang grupong Abu Sayyaf. May malaking bounty na ini-alok ang Estados Unidos at Pilipinas madakip lamang si Sahiron buhay man o patay. (Mindanao Examiner)
