Siguridad sa ARMM Compound butas!

COTABATO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Jan. 22, 2012) – Malaking misteryo pa rin ang sunod-sunod na pambobomba sa compound ng Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) sa Cotabato City sa kabila ng mahigpit na siguridad nito.

Ilang beses ng pinasabugan ang naturang lugar mula pa nuong nakaraang taon at mistulang inutil ang mga parak at sundalo, at mga security ng ARMM na mapigil ang mga ito at sa katunayan ay wala pang nadakip ang mga awtoridad.

Ngunit sinabi naman ni ARMM officer-in-charge Mujiv Hataman na magpapatupad na ito ng curfew sa compound bilang bahagi ng siguridad laban sa mga banta ng terorismo at karahasan.

Sisimulan ang curfew ngayon Lunes mula alas 8 ng gabi hanggang alas 5 ng umaga, ngunit maluwag pa rin ang siguridad sa lugar, ayon sa ilang mga labas-masok doon.

Hindi umano mahigpit ang mga parak sa kanilang inspeksyon ng mga sasakyan at madali lamang maipupuslit ang anumang uri ng improvise explosives at granada sa loob ng ARMM compound na siyang “seat of government” ng nasabing autonomous region.

Si Hataman lamang ang may lakas-loob na umano’y mag-opisina sa ARMM compound dahil sina dating regional governor Zaldy Ampatuan at vice regional governor Ansaruddin Adiong ay halos hindi makita ang mga anino doon at sa halip sa kanilang mga lalawigan o sa Davao City at Maynila madalas manatili.
