
ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Apr. 14, 2013) – A store owner was injured after two gunmen attacked her following a daring daylight robbery in the town of Siay in Zamboanga Sibugay province in southern Philippines, police said.
Police said Rosie Fe Queral, 50, was hit in the face with the pistol by one of four armed men who barged in her store in the village called Batu.
Investigators said the robbers took some P90,000 from the store and escaped on two motorcycles towards the town of Kabasalan.
It was not immediately known what triggered the gunman to attack the store owner. (Mindanao Examiner)
