Fishermen from the towns of Maimbung, Jolo, Patikul, Indanan and Parang benefited from the program. They praised the provincial government and the BFAR for providing them the boats.

Governor Toto Tan, who is now on a pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, earlier issued directives to his appropriate functionaries to provide full support to this initiative which is beneficial to those who are based in coastal settlements and islands. (Mindanao Examiner)
